We got onto the highway that directed us to the Franklin Academy, because it was open-house night. Then, Sheely wanted a drink so her mother pulled over to a mini-mart and I got a grape juice and Sheely, Lauren and Mariah got assorted Coke sodas. We sipped our beverages while discussing Pillow Pets (yes I did just say Pillow Pets. They are really nifty pillows-and toys). We pulled onto the highway being followed by a bunch of motorcyclists.
It kind of looked as if they were traveling somewhere. They looked like they had muscles, but it could just be the coats they were wearing to stay warm from the wind. Anyways, everyone's Pillow Pet heads were sticking out of the trunk. One of us had the briliant idea to get the leading motorcyclist's attention. Once we got the attention and waved, he did the "cool-dude-head-bob-move". So then someone (probably me) suggested that we show off how awesome our Pillow Pets were. So, we did. Mr. Motorcycle Man smiled and slid into the next lane. So the next guy saw us and he actually laughed. He made faces at us whenever Lauren, Mariah or I looked back through the trunk's window. It was HILARIOUS!!!!!! We kept doing this for approximately thirty minutes. It was too bad that they turned at an intersection and that we didn't keep out the camera.
What bit of road trip entertainment info did I learn here?
Two things:
ONE-Always hang out with your completely crazy and unpredictable friends.
and TWO-Be sure to take out your Pillow Pets whenever you see any traveling
motorcyclists for a good laugh! :)
